General information
Nagorny tunnel is the first Russian railway tunnel headed in permafrost ground. It is situated in the zone of high-temperature permafrost. Seismic activity of the area is 8 points. Preliminary design and design drawings for the tunnel construction were performed by “Lenmetrohyprotrans”. |
